Conceived as a dramatic building form, the proposed cafe challenges the coastal suburban monotony.  Referencing origami, the built form shelters diners from the strong sea breeze and summer sun.

It offers a dynamic dining space, expanding and contracting with the operable facade that’s tucked inside of the angular shell. The angles have been identified to integrate the alfresco area with the adjacent park while framing views to the Indian Ocean.
