Space Collective Architects were engaged by a private client to reimagine one of Perth’s premier beachfront sites for a new opulent mixed-use development. The project is a unique opportunity to provide 8 luxurious apartments integrated with a new Italian restaurant on the street front.

The challenge has been to deliver a dynamic design response that complies with the local, rigid planning framework. Soft curvature and carved forms have been inspired by the coastal limestone formations. A bespoke tile is proposed to provide a textured and layered façade to contrast with the metal detailing.
